2021 TML Exhibitor FAQs

Please review our pre-show FAQs to prepare for your arrival in Houston!

Per the CDC guidelines, it is recommended that all individuals wear a mask while indoors. TML masks will be available for free as well as hand sanitizing stations throughout the convention center.

If you test positive for Covid-19 during the TML Annual Conference or within two weeks following the event, the CDC suggests that you inform appropriate parties so others may self-quarantine or get tested. Please contact us at conference@tml.org if this applies to you. Your identity will not be shared with other conference participants.

The 2021 TML Annual Conference and Exhibition will take place October 6-8 at the George R. Brown Convention Center, located at 1001 Avenida De Las Americas, Houston, Texas 77010. The TML exhibit hall is located on Level 3 in Hall A3 & B3.

Unless you have made other arrangements with The Expo Group or TML, the recommended move-in time is Tuesday, October 5, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m

If you did NOT pre-ship your booth space items and plan to deliver them to the booth yourself:

  • Pack and pre-label your freight with your company name and booth number. Don’t forget to pack wheeled carts or other items to transport your materials from the loading dock to your exhibit space.
  • Arrive at the convention center loading dock Tuesday, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (see directions to loading dock here)
  • Each vehicle will have 15 minutes to unload items. Unload your freight onto the dock, return to your vehicle and park.
  • Return to the convention center and head to Exhibitor Registration, Level 3, to check in.
  • Locate your booth space.
  • Return to the loading dock to pick up your booth freight and transport your items to your booth space.

If you pre-shipped your booth freight to The Expo Group for delivery onsite:

  • Pre-shipped booth freight will be delivered to booth spaces beginning Tuesday morning, 9:00 a.m.
  • Upon arriving to the convention center, head straight to Exhibitor Registration, Level 3, to check in.
  • Enter the exhibit hall and locate your booth. Items should be delivered to exhibitors by Noon on Tuesday (please be patient as delivery time may vary).

If you have just a few light items to carry in:

  • Enter the convention center and head to Exhibitor Registration, Level 3, to check in.
  • Locate your booth space and deliver your items.
  • Pre-shipped booth freight will be delivered to booth spaces beginning Tuesday morning, 9:00 a.m.
  • Upon arriving to the convention center, head straight to Exhibitor Registration, Level 3, to check in.
  • Enter the exhibit hall and locate your booth. Items should be delivered to exhibitors by Noon on Tuesday (please be patient as delivery time may vary).

DO NOT dismantle or pack up before 10:00 a.m. on Friday.

At 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 8:

  • The exhibit hall loading dock will open.
  • Aisle carpet will be removed.
  • Large vehicles will move out first.
  • Pack up your booth, label with your company name, and take your items to the loading dock.
  • Drive your vehicle to the loading dock to pick up your items.
  • All items should be completely removed from the exhibit hall by 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Tip: Beginning at 10:00 a.m., pack up your booth and take your items to the loading dock. Head out to enjoy an early lunch, and return to the loading dock with your vehicle at a later time to avoid traffic congestion.

Exhibitors will be able to purchase guest Wi-Fi access onsite in the exhibit hall through the George R. Brown Convention Center. Prices range from $15 – $75.

Pre-register your exhibitor booth personnel through your exhibitor dashboard.

Additional badges can be pre-purchased through the dashboard for $35 each by October 4.

Additional badges can also be purchased onsite for $50 each.

Exhibitor Registration is located on Level 3 of the GRB, just outside the exhibit hall main entrance.

To expedite registration check-in, please have your badge confirmation barcode ready to scan.

Badges are required to enter the exhibit hall. Exhibit spaces should be staffed at all times.

Visit the Exhibitor Information booth, centrally located in the exhibit hall “Town Square”.

Visit The Expo Group Service Center, located in the back of the exhibit hall near the loading dock

Your Exhibitor Dashboard provides an on-demand traffic report of how many people viewed your storefront, if they provided contact information while viewing, and what those contacts found most interesting in your storefront.

Visitors can also reach out to you directly through the virtual business cards features.

Access your traffic report at any time by logging into your Exhibitor Dashboard and selecting the “Traffic Report” tile.
